When Friendship Kills

This drama takes an uncompromising look at the vexed subject of eating disorders. Like most teenage girls, Lexi (Katie Wright, The David Cassidy Story) and her friend Jennifer (Marley Shelton, Angel Falls) are conscious of their weight, but they choose to deal with the problem through drastic measures: they both develop bulimia. Lexi is soon so badly afflicted by the disease that her frantic mother Kathryn (Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman) takes her to an eating disorders clinic. But Lexi’s disclosure that Jennifer may have the same problem leads to a rift between the two friends – a rift with tragic consequences.
