David's Mother

Kirstie Alley (Cheers) and Michael Goorjian (CSI) both won Emmy® Awards for their performances as a caring mother and her autistic son in this superb drama, based on the play by Walt Lloyd. The feisty, outspoken Sally Goodson is totally devoted to her son, David. Yet she is so overly protective that she is denying him the very environment that might benefit his condition. Only through the intervention of her friends, social workers and John, the new man in her life, can she find the strength to set David free. Also starring Sam Waterston (The Great Gatsby) and Stockard Channing (Grease, The West Wing). Directed by Robert Allan Ackerman.
